Thanks to the collaboration with IBIE International baking Industry Exposition in Las Vegas, the selection will take place during the most important food event of the Western hemisphere and is open to chefs from United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Uruguay. A jury of excellence will judge the panettone in competition the external appearance (shape, volume and color), the appearance at the cut (honeycomb, fruit distribution and roundness) and sensory appreciation such as perfume, flavor and aromaticity.
The winners will represent their country in the 2026 world final.
The Panettone World Cup is a renowned international event entirely dedicated to a leavened baked product. It was created to celebrate the history and processing of the Panettone – an artisanal product created from the management and use of a mother yeast, capable of crossing the borders of its Italian origin to establish itself on the world pastry scene.
